Gender Equity in Vocational / Technical Education

Commissioned by the Massachusetts Department of Education, Gender Equity in Vocational / Technical Education is aimed at encouraging the parents of middle school-aged children to consider, with their children, the benefits and opportunities of vocational/technical education. 

In particular it presents the stories of voc/tech graduates who work in occupations that confound sex-role stereotypes -- young women pursuing careers as welders and design engineers; young men training for nursing and child-care careers.  20-minutes.
